Wimala Home for Elders
Wimala Elders Home is a government-approved, nonprofit elders home established more than 50 years ago and situated in Kalutara, Sri Lanka. Set amidst two acres of well-maintained garden area, the place affords proper care and protection for senior citizens and is managed by a team of professionals who understand the unique needs of elderly people.
People we accept
At Wimala Elders Home, we accept people up to 55 years of age. A guardian or a caretaker can register the person in their care with us. Similarly, any senior citizen below 55 years wishing to be a resident at our home can individually register with us if they are in good health. We also accept people with minor health conditions. (We do not accept cancer patients and those who are paralyzed)
